Saeed Naqvi’s book Being the Other: The Muslim in India addresses the acts of omission and commission that have contributed to the ‘othering’ of the 180 million Indian Muslims. Tabish Khair is the author of Jihadi Jane, a novel about young Muslim women brainwashed by ISIS. Sadia Dehlvi is the author of Sufism: The Heart of Islam and actively engaged in spreading pluralistic and inclusive narratives of Islam. Qaisra Shahraz, author of The Holy Woman, is an acclaimed British Pakistani novelist and scriptwriter.
