Maithree Wickramasinghe (PhD) is the Chair and Senior Professor of English, and the founding Director of the Centre for Gender Studies, at the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka. She counts thirty five years of experience as a scholar in the field of gender activism and research, evaluating women’s programs for local and international organisations.
